10. Fullday Ancient Rome tour: a day with an archeologist

This fullday tour is suggested if you’re really interested in History and the remains of the Ancient Rome, with me, Marisa, a qualified tourist guide and specialist in Roman Archaeology.
A day featuring the classic tour of the Roman Forum and the Colosseum and (after a nice lunch break) a less famous site easily reachable by foot: we can visit the Baths of Caracalla or the excavations of the Basilica of St. Clemente (Underground Rome).

Immerse in a long journey in Roman History with a passionate guide who’ve spent years studying and digging out the Ancient Rome.

(Suggested only from September to March. Not suggested for the summer)

Itinerary

  1. meet your guide at the main entrance of the Roman Forum
  2. private tour of Forum and Colosseum
  3. lunch break
  4. visit of the Baths of Caracalla or Basilica of Saint Clemente

timing may change depending from your level of interest and walking pace. Lunch break is about one hour
