Marisa Ficorella, Archaeologist and Qualified Guide

This tour is suggested if you're not interested in visiting the Basilica of St. Peter OR if you want to enjoy the collections of the Pope with less crowds.

Meet the Great Masters of Renaissance at the Vatican Museums!

The itinerary can be modified following your interests: we can visit the New Wing (finally open to the public after a long restoration), the Art Gallery (where you can admire works of Caravaggio and Giotto) or "Stanze", the apartment of the Pope Giulio II, with famous frescoes of Raphael.

We'll finish admiring the Sistine Chapel, home of great Masters as Botticellli, Perugino, Ghirlandaio, and of course Michelangelo.

I'd schedule this tour on Wednesday morning or any other day at 2. 30 pm, when the museum is more enjoyable for the absence of big groups but write me to ask for changes.

St. Peter's Basilica is NOT included. at the end of the tour (on request) I can escort you at the Basilica where you'll continue the visit by yourself.
