Extensive tour of the Ancient Rome, perfect for history lovers and good walkers. (Book my basic tour for a less-detailed tour)
I've designed this tour to be a journey through the ages to discover the history of the Roman Empire, admiring its majestic remains as the Colosseum, Basilica of Maxentius or the Arch of Titus.
I'll be happy to escort you in "my" Roman Forum, where I've spent weeks excavating when I was a student of Archaeology.
We'll talk about facts, myths and legend of the Ancient Rome, exploring the Palace of Emperors on the Palatine Hill.
Gladiators, lions and Ancient Romans are waiting for you!
TIPS for a perfect visit:
- Only small backpacks or handbags allowed
- Wear comfortably shoes (uneven and dusty floors)
- Bring a bottle of water (you can refill it during the tour)
IMPORTANT (since March 2016):
-->Book this tour at 8. 30 am or 3 pm to minimize the queue at the Colosseum entrance for the security checkpoint (delays and lines even for pre-booked visitors)
